Hello,
This community has been very helpful, and it answers all the questions I have. Hopefully, I can get some help on this next question that I have.
I have connected the Smartsheet as well as MIRO direct integrations in the SAM workspace. I am working on getting the SSO Integration completed and also the Google Workspace Direct Integration completed. However, we use Active Directory as our source of truth and AD adds/removes someone from MIRO/Smartsheet and our other software's.
We have the AD Spoke installed in our instance. So, my question is how can we connect the AD Spoke in our instance to a direct integration in SAM in our ServiceNow instance?
Thank you all

Hi @markschwart
The Microsoft AD Spoke is treated as an operational tool for user/group management, rather than a discovery source for SAM reconciliation.
Microsoft AD Spoke is designed for automation (writing/modifying AD objects) rather than direct data ingestion (reading/reconciling software installations) for Software Asset Management (SAM).
You cannot configure the AD Spoke as a direct discovery source in the SAM Workspace to pull software usage data.

To answer you completely, by not stating what the spoke won't do, I am going to suggest that you see if your organization is using ECM (Endpoint Configuration Manager - the new name for SCCM).
If so, using the Service Graph Connector (SG-SCCM), you can not only get a valid desktop discovery and inventory of the hardware and software running in your environment, but can also take advantage of the usage attributes built into the ECM and importing that data to your instance through the running of a robust transformation through the IRE to import data & usage and therby do what you state that you would like to do with further processing of activities in SAM Pro.
Please check the documentation site at ServiceNow (servicenow.com/docs) as well as many community articles on SCCM (type SCCM in the search bar in the SAM forum and you will be quite engaged. One of my favorites, though a bit technical, but spot on ) has been authored by a colleague here at ServiceNow (Ann Marie Duff), it explains how to set up the SCCM SG Connector and it is wwell doucmented and fully explained and the direct link to that article can be found here: SG-SCCM Service Graph Connector - ServiceNow Community
I hope this helps you and others in your continuous quest to perform and succeed in Software Asset Management using ServiceNow.

Perfect, I will check more of the documentation out, and I appreciate your prompt response to this question. After I read some more documentation about this and have some more questions, would you mind answering my other questions regarding this topic if I post them here?
