I know that we have the system property "Exclude from SAM" that appends from the SAM to the CMDB Hardware Table.
"com.snc.samp.exclude_device_flag: This feature allows you to create a Yes/No (true/false) field on the base CMDB Hardware table that when marked Yes, instructs the Reconciliation engine to skip over that device not considering its installed software in reconciliation results. This is a feature that might be used for devices in a lab or test environment where your Terms and Conditions allow for uncharged software usage."
Is there a way to add that filter/view back into the SAM tables (dot walk?) as a column that can be added to show the True/False and allow for ease of reporting?
Thanks

Hi @Joni Wootton ,
please keep in mind, that setting this flag to „True“ for a CI, will remove all relationships between the CI software install records and the linked discovery models, to exclude this device and its software from any reconciliation actions.
What do you mean with „bring back into SAMP?“ and where would you like ho see this detail?
in general - Yes, you can add the attribute to each table having the „Installed On“ column vis dot.walking.
Best, Dennis
