Export License usage information

Hi all,

Has anyone exported the licensed required usage data?  This would be extremely helpful information to pass along to other teams.  

Ex.

In license usage, looking at a singular product, I would like to be able to cleanly export a list of the users that require a license.

When you click on licenses required, it provides the full list in the licenses required by tab with an export function.

I would assume that when I export this list, I would receive a file with 63 records on it. When I export, I receive a two page tab excel.

1st tab- 32,001 lines, tab 2 -18,001 lines.

Anybody know how to export what is on the screen? The goal would be to export the list and provide it to the team that manages the software.

Hi @oberlel 

 

We are experiencing the exact same problem. I don't think it is the expected behavior that the export functionality is not exporting what is shown on the screen, so it seems like a bug. Did you contact ServiceNow support about this?

Hi @Daniel Madsen - 

Yes- we opened a HI ticket.  See below for ServiceNow's response. 

This is a platform issue (affects all workspaces) and is fixed via PRB1918529(Zurich Patch 7) and the release date is 03/05/2026.

We haven't applied the patch yet.
