mostly the foundation data includes tables such as User, Group, Company, Location, Department, Group Membership etc

Generally following foundation data acts as the building blocks for your workflows:

 

  • Users: Individual profiles stored in the sys_user table, which are mandatory for platform access.
  • Groups: Collections of users assigned to specific roles or task queues.
  • Companies: Records for your own organization, vendors, and clients.
  • Departments: Structural business units within your company.
  • Locations: Physical or logical sites, facilities, and regional offices.
  • Cost Centers: Financial tracking entities mapped to users or departments.
  • Product Models: Hardware, software, and consumable assets
