How to configure ACC (MID Less) for SAM Pro

Hi All,

We have a requirement to configure ACC for endpoint (laptop/desktop) software discovery for SAM Pro, as we do not have SCCM, JAMF, Intune, or similar tools available for endpoint software discovery.

Could someone please let us know the prerequisites and implementation steps required for this configuration?

You don't need DEX in order to use ACC-V since ACC-V is part of ITOM Visibility.

As for the MID Server question. In an enterprise grade architecture most servers have restricted policies when it come to their outbound connections to the internet. On these cases, the MID Servers are required for the agents to communicate with ServiceNow.

If you have SAM Pro, ACC-V will greatly enrich your CIs. Go ahead and give it a try in 1 or 2 devices.
