Hi There
In my environment, we are replacing "snow" a software asset management tool with ServiceNow SAM Pro. snow has a capability that is can fetch the last used date of the software. How can we get this done in SAM Pro?
1. Can we get this information via agent based discovery?
2. Do we need to add some more steps to patterns to get this information from windows laptops?
Please guide.
Thanks
Amit

No, not yet. We did not take the route of ACC, however as updated earlier in this thread, you can use ACC for this, but it does not seem to be so straight forward, and I am saying this as I saw a small demo for this. I am trying to get this done via SG-SCCM but no luck so far. I will post on this, if I get success.

Hi @Amit Sharma7,
please reach our to your SCCM team to enable usage tracking for application executable in scope - Monitor app usage with software metering - Configuration Manager | Microsoft Learn
It is required to create reclamation rules for each software product you want to track and reclaim. Please ensure that the executable files (Product process) per reclamation rule are the same you've setup in SCCM. Create a reclamation rule to import Microsoft SCCM usage data (servicenow.com)
Best, Dennis
