Hi team,
I have a scenario where language packs also considered as separate softwrae installation. For example, for a german user he has both english & German version of softwrae. This should be considered as 1 install but system is considering it as 2 install.
How to handle this scenario using SAM Pro capabilities?

Thanks again for checking on this.
I will try this approach. But, would this not be automatic if this supposed to be a suite product?

You're welcome! You're correct that ideally, this should be handled automatically if the software was initially defined as a software suite. However, in practice, it can depend on how the software publisher has packaged their products and how the language packs are identified during discovery.
In some cases, different language versions of the same software may be recognized as separate installations due to differences in naming conventions or other identifiable attributes. This is why manual intervention might be necessary to group them together under a single software suite.
Please note that while creating a software suite manually can resolve this specific issue, it's still important to ensure your discovery tool is correctly identifying and classifying your installed software for accurate SAM outcomes.
Please mark helpful to all my responses and correct if you are happy with the solution.
Thanks
