How to identifies software models that have been identified for restricted use

Hello Team, I need to implement a new feature in Service Now to identify the software models which is of Restricted use.

Software installation optimization and removal (servicenow.com)

Please let me know if someone implements this feature.

I was thinking to create a new field on the Software Model table, which has options of Restricted and use BR to avoid insertion of new Records

But is there any OOTB way to automatically populated the restricted details in the software model records.

Hi @Ankit Pratap009 ,

please use the out of the box software model field "Restricted Software". SAMP will create removal candidates for each software installation record linked to a restricted model. Software model fields (servicenow.com)

Option for restricting software.
Restricted software identifies software that you shouldn’t install in your environment (inappropriate software, or software with vulnerabilities, for example).

If the removal candidates don't exist, a scheduled job runs nightly that creates removal candidates for restricted software.

Best, Dennis
