How to keep Software Installations table records current

Hello friends,

I would like to know how can we make this cmdb_sam_sw_install table records clean, current and uptodate. We have ServiceNow, Tanium and custom integration populating this table.

Would like to understand how would I achieve this ? How OTB ServiceNow discovery, Tanium SGC does it ? And how can I replicate the same in our custom integrations?

Thanks in advance, let me know if additional context/information is needed.

Hi @RahulY00040,

please take a look into the following SG Tanium data source, to understand the removal of uninstalled software

SG-Tanium Remove Software Integration Commons Remove Record [sn_cmdb_int_util_remove_record]
