We have rolled out discovery globally. Most of our IBM software on AIX machines is not being discovered. We have verified we have the patterns correctly. We opened a ticket with ServcieNow and basically they said it wouldn't be discovered This is common IBM software like DB2 and Tivoli workload scheduler so I don't believe it. We do see it in ILMT and Qualys. Has anyone else had this issue and resolved it?

Hi @annmarsh , ServiceNow relies heavily on file-based discovery for IBM software, but the out-of-box content library has weak IBM coverage. IBM software also has multiple licensing options per product, so the standard 1:1 product mapping doesn't work.
Anglepoint built an extended catalog specifically for IBM software and worked with ServiceNow to add software classification (i.e. mapping to the right license entitlement). It's delivered through our IBM Licensing for Software Asset Management app on the ServiceNow Store alongside our services. Happy to discuss how we have helped implement this with our other clients.

Hi @annmarsh,
did you already checked the ILMT integration with SAM Pro, it’s part of the IBM publisher pack.
If the software isn’t installed by a package manager et., Discovery is sometimes blind and as said by @ankityadav additional methods are required to close the gap.
The mentioned catalog by AngelPoint etc. is not „for free“ it requires a special contract between an authorized partner and an agreement with IBM (IASP, CVA).
Best, Dennis
