License Workbench - Duplicate License Metric Result for 1 software model

Is normal to have 2 license metric for the same software model?

I have checked the sys id of the software model from the license position report and they are the same. DMAP is also the same

However both metric results have entitlements tagged to them.

Is this normal behaviour? I'm trying to figure out how this could be happen and how it can be prevented.

Below is what is see, I have erased the rights owned , rights used and rights consumed but these have their own different values

In my experience this can happen when you have entitlement records that reference the same software model and license metric, but the License Type is different. I'm seeing this more and more where customers have SQL Server entitlements which have P/SA and Subscription license types.

Hi Cons

Ideally the different entitlements with same license metrics /license type usually combine to one License metric results. Hence, if you have 2 entitlements with different cost/rights but same license metric/license type if will combine to one.

Please check if there is differences to the entitlements in terms of license metric and license type . If yes, then it will have different line items.

You guys are correct, it has something to do with the entitlement. The issue was the agreement type, its different for some.

I have the same question about duplicate license metric result. I've loaded two entitlements for Adobe having similar Agreement Type, Software Model, PPN and License Type. The only difference is the purchased rights, the first load has 4 and the second load has 6.
