For one of our clients, we have an integration that pulls in user subscriptions to SAM Pro. This integration imports several different subscriptions and maps them to software models. The publisher of this integration has changed how their licensing model works, but the subscriptions being pulled in through the integration have not changed. They now sell their licenses as bundles, and three of the subscriptions pulled in are considered part of this bundle.
We have created a new software model for this bundle, to which we have assigned a line of entitlement. We now want to map three of these subscriptions coming in from the integration to this new bundled software model and use the licenses from that. We have tried applying the subscription software models as suite components to the new bundled software model, but nothing happens after running reconciliation.
Is there something that we are missing? Or does SAM Pro not have the capabilities to map software subscriptions as suite components to a different suite parent software model?
Any and all help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, your assumption is correct. The request you made in connection with software model suites and SaaS subscriptions cannot be mapped. The reason for this is that the complete software model and suite (suite inference) is based on software installations. SaaS subscriptions are only one way of displaying consumption and have no influence on suite components, etc.
It is best to contact the ServiceNow SAM Content Team and explain the new licensing situation to the manufacturer, as an adjustment on the part of SAMP seems necessary here.
Please keep us posted about the progress.
Best, Dennis
