Hello Team,

I have refreshed my personal instance many times from yesterday but it is still offline.

I do not want to release the instance due to data and already installed all required plugins .

Your assistance to again activate my instance is highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi @AkanshaS5207557,

As you might know, there is no support available from ServiceNow in relation to PDIs, hence you're limited to two options:

  1. Wait till it comes online again.
  2. If you get tired of waiting release the instance and request a fresh installation. Note, all work that hasn't been backed up will be lost.

Solved: PDI offline - ServiceNow Community

@AkanshaS5207557 If you have already been waiting for quite some time then I suggest you to release the existing PDI instance and request for a fresh one. Unfortunately, there is no official support available for the Personal Development Instances and requesting a new instance is only solution available to resolve it.

Hi @AkanshaS5207557

When your ServiceNow PDI (Personal Developer Instance) goes offline, it usually happens due to inactivity. Instances are automatically reclaimed after a certain period of inactivity or become unavailable due to maintenance of PDIs.

Things to keep in mind-

  1. ServiceNow does not have support available for PDI.
  2. Usually, you can wait for some time if it says the instance will be available after the scheduled maintenance. You can wait around 3-4 days if you have some development done on PDIs without having a backup.
  3. Another way is that you can release your current instance or request a new one if it's urgently required.
  4. Please backup your changes every time, whenever you leave your PDIs after some development POCs to avoid unexpected delays.
