Population of Yearly Cost Field in Software Entitlements table

Dear Community,

 

One of our customers would like to make use of the "Yearly cost" field in the software entitlements (alm_license) table, to be able to track entitlements cost in an annual basis. It looks like this requires special scripting in order to achieve this goal, but I would like to get more clarity and hopefully a step-by-step process. Any suggestions on where to find this?

Hi @LFS ,

for each record an additional „Expense Line“ is created and linked with the entitlement based on a related list. Please check this feature as it could cover your use case. Reporting etc should be no problem.
