Returning OS from the Installed Software list

I asked our system dev team about not being able to return the OS found when viewing the Installed Software list within the SAM workspace.  They passed it on to Service Now support and this is their response

Is this correct as I am sure there are questions on here saying that you can.

 

It just seem incomprehensible that SN would not let you return OS especially when businesses are migrating from Win 10 to Win 11.
