Hi Experts,
I wanted to create a report which gives the list of SaaS products/software models we have in our environment. I see that there is a check box called "Subscription software".
But, this indicates more about having subscriptions and not necessarily a SaaS product (accessible through a portal or web). How I can make this distinction and only provide a definitive list of pure SaaS software models?

If "Subscription Software" and "Ignore installs" check boxes are checked, then the product is considered as true/pure SaaS.

To distinguish SaaS from general subscription software focus on delivery and accessibility. Pure SaaS runs via a browser or portal without local installation, offering scalability and multi tenancy. Subscription alone can also apply to on-premise tools. You should validate apps against these SaaS traits. CONTUS Tech and other leading SaaS development companies follow this model to ensure clarity when categorizing enterprise software environments.
