Hello,
We have entitlements for Adobe Creative Cloud. What I am not sure about is how to get the suite components to get covered by the entitlement. We are getting subscription entries for CCSV which are apearing but there are entries for example that show under XD
But XD is shown as a suite component.
How do I get the entries properly aligned to the Creative Cloud entitlement. i have come across different articles and postings but have yet to find solid steps as to how to have this listed as these really should be compliant under the Creative Cloud entitlement and the documentation on the DOC site is not helping.
Suggested steps would be appreciated.

@k_lutz The 265 Adobe XD are not showing as unlicensed installs but installs requiring action. You should be able to click the number, and it will show you the reason (e.g., Install without a software entitlement etc.). A couple of suggestions below:
1. Check if you have DMAP specified on both Creative Cloud and Adobe XD. Note that if you have created the software model without using a PPN, adding the DMAP might create a new software model (the correct software model).
2. Under the Suite Components tab of the Creative Cloud software model, check "Allow automated content update" and add the Inference percent or number (do not leave it blank).
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the suggestions. Those all appear to be set as you mention but still not being pulled under CC as we would expect. At this point, it has been months of trying to use the tool which was even setup by a partner and the licensing team (IMO) still prefer to use Excel then trust the information showing in the SAM dashboard since it does not align to the numbers they get going through their normal process steps.

Hello @k_lutz ,
first thanks to @Engelica Adalia for provided troubleshooting details to which I would to add additional steps to check.
- please verify that the suite XD software model is the same as the one with installs requires action. You can compare the sysid in the browser or based on any other attribute on the software models
- is the Adobe Direct Integration profile setup and working? As Engelica mentioned, most of the relationships is provided by the content team and the DMAP details. The integration will create all required models based on the portal data an all user subscriptions are linked to the correct model.
- could you please share the details of the „requiring actions“ and details about the CC entitlement.
thanks, Dennis

Hello @dreinhardt
Yes, the sys_ids are the same but when I look at the records it seems like they don't have the same attributes as one would expect.
As with most things SAM, the code is hidden so no idea why these value are set different but my guess it is why they are may not associate to the CC entitlement as expected.
The direct integration is working but the numbers are not aligned to what is in Adobe Admin console. For example in the console it does not show counts for an entry that seems related to the following (pulled from the custom property field) "Creative Cloud Shared Device Access for Higher Education". The entries that do seem to align to what is shown in the Adobe Admin console relate to the subscription identifier id of CCSV or what is in the custom property field of "All Apps – Pro Edition – EDU". So the first subscription entries are completely throwing off the numbers....and this is discounting the fact that SN does not really have a metric or way to handle couting based upon FTE.
So I appreciate the additional information around the installs but it seems like SN does not handle Adobe well or from the different posts I have seen...not without issues and having to dig into the functionality that is not documented well.
