Hey,
As one of our client's requirements we have been asked to onboard SAP as a publisher. I just wanted to understand if we require to integrate with SAP ABAP even when we enable the publisher pack. will only enabling the publisher pack not suffice? and do we get SAP data discovered accurately through discovery?
If anyone has worked on onboarding SAP publisher, could you please help me out with the steps that are required to be followed in order to onboard it?
Any insights would be really helpful!!
Thanks in Advance!

Use the Software Asset Management publisher pack for SAP to manage and optimize your SAP licenses. Get comprehensive visibility into your SAP license compliance and uncover potential savings.
Software Asset Management publisher pack for SAP
To use the publisher pack, install the Software Asset Management Professional for SAP plugin (com.sn_samp_sap).

Hi @srishtipandey0 ,
enabling the publisher pack for SAP will activate publisher specific license metrics and rules and additional dashboards for SAP. I would recommend to enable the publisher pack (with/without SAP ABAP integration) as this step will help you to onboard SAP entitlements and reduce the effort to create SAP metrics etc.
SAP ABAP integration is not needed to onboard entitlements or the publisher itself, but you'll miss all insights into named user, engine measurement and direct access details imported by this integration from your SAP landscape.
Best, Dennis

Hello,I can't download the transport files in servicenow ,how can I download it in servicenow?
“ deploy the ABAP program, import the transport files that are provided through the SAP ABAP for Software Asset Management application and then configure a service provider with the service-oriented architecture (SOA) Manager.”
