Software Entitlement updation

In some cases, the company may purchase additional licenses under an existing entitlement, especially when the cost per unit remains the same.

In such scenarios, does the Software Asset Manager need to manually update and add the additional license count in the system? Or is it possible to automatically retrieve the updated license quantity directly from the O365 portal?

Could you please clarify how this should be handled?

Hi @NeethuB ,

to keep the answer short - each purchase or reservation is (should be) a new entitlement in SAM Pro.

 

No, SAM Pro does not get any entitlement details from M365 to be processed in SAM. 
As mentioned in the others post, take a look into the Microsoft Reservations.
