Software Model Source field in Software Installations table

In the Software Installations table, there is a column called "Software Model Source" which currently is showing two values: Automatic SMR creation and Calculator.

Does anyone know what do they mean? Thank you!

Software model source (software_model_source): This identifies the step in the reconciliation process that set the Minimum Viable Software Model attribute.

Hello Flavia,

The value you are looking at has no bearing on daily Software Asset Management activities.  The value is populated by and used by the SAM Reconciliation engine when aligning software installations to software models and thus by relationship to entitlements.
