What is the difference between Workflow studio and workflow editor?

Dear experts,

I would like to add in or change the current risk event lifecycle workflow under the advanced risk management scope. May I know what is the diff between workflow studio and editor? So where and how should I approach this customization? Do I do it under workflow editor or studio? Because currently the workflow studio has the risk event approval workflow but workflow editor do not. Waiting for your reply. Thank you.

Hi @ChuanYanF

The workflow is currently triggered by the response template under "Administrations", you need to modify the workflow in Workflow Studio by introducing a new approval step after the first approval.

Follow the below verifications:

  1. Open the Risk Event Approval Workflow in workflow studio.
  2. Check how the first approval is triggered and what happens afterward.
  3. Check response template under Administrations is related to the workflow trigger.
  4. find where the first approval step is defined then.
  5. add a new decision point or approval step. This step will act as your secondary layer.

@ChuanYanF

you need to search if approvals are added via Workflow or via Flow

If via workflow -> then edit that from Workflow editor

If via flow -> then edit that from Workflow studio -> Flow tab

Hi @ChuanYanF

Based on the your information , if your goal is to add or change the risk event lifecycle workflow, and this workflow involves the Risk Event Approval process.  you'll likely need to use Workflow Studio(allows for the creation and design of complex workflows).

In other hand, Workflow Editor more focused on editing or fine-tuning existing workflows. It may not be as feature-rich or flexible as Workflow Studio and is often used for simpler, straightforward modifications.

Hi, thanks for your reply. But I want to add in a secondary layer of approval after the first initial one, how can I approach this matter? Where currently now the risk event approval workflow is triggered by the response template under administrations.
