Why "End of life Date" not populating in SOFTWARE MODEL table ?

I see there is OOB field "
Is Content library going to populate this or any business rule / script is configured to fetch and populate from software lifecycle table , I Know there related list which shows lifecycle info .
But I am concerned about this field. Please let me know OOB behaviour of this field.

I validated that this is expected behavior to have an empty value in the software model table view for end of life date. It's most likely left over from ITSM Asset Management.
If you want a table view of your software model and respective lifecycle dates I would create a report using the report builder (View / Run) and JOIN the cmdb_software_product_model and sam_sw_model_lifecycle tables.

It's probably because Adobe hasn't released a EOL date for these software models yet.

Description
On the software model table (cmdb_software_product_model) there are 2 OOTB field GA Release date (ga_release_date) and End of life date (end_of_life_date). What are they used for?
Resolution
These are legacy fields and no longer used by software asset management professional(SAMP). In SAMP our content team maintains lifecycle data for major products. When a DMAP is selected for the model the lifecycle is automatically populated.
