We are using the CIS suite for our Windows server Licensing, The entitlements are set to Per Core (with Cal), We can't get the Workspace to show compliance for our Windows Server 2019 or 2022. I also notice that the software models for Windows Server 2019 and 2022 do not have any Metric attributes assoctiated to them. Trying to figure out what I am missing!

Hi @norm kalish,
Based on my best practices the following steps should be checked.
My example is based on PPN 9GA-00064 - Microsoft Core Infrastructure Server Suite Standard
1. Create a MSFT CIS entitlement based on a PPN (or DMAP), to ensure all relevant suite components are created by the system automatically.
2. The following Software Models and Suite relationships where created based on the content db. Per definition is CIS a combination of Windows Server & a System Center component to manage the server via SCCM/MECM. Based on this, the suite components are based on a Windows Server and the System Center Suite with a percentage of 75 to ensure that both models (or components) must exist a valid software installation to be detected a CIS.
- CIS Standard + Suite Components
- Windows Server Standard:
- System Center Standard + Suite Components
3. Adjustment of the System Center Suite. By default the percentage is set to 75. This means 7 of 9 of the mentioned software installations must be found on a device to be assigned to our System Center Model. This is impossible and not a real world scenario. Based on best practices and discussion with SN, the recommendation is to set the percentage to 0. As soon one of the mentioned components is detected the device will be assigned to the system center model and in combination with an additional Windows Server installation it will be counted a CIS
4. Reference devices and discovery model normalization. Please pick up to 5 reference devices and verify the relevant software is installed (Windows Server & System Center Component) and all linked discovery models are normalized to match the discussed software models & components.
5. Run reconciliation and review the results

This is correct, because the metric attributes are available per software model which is linked to the entitlements (based on PPN)
Best, Dennis

Thanks for Replying so quickly, I had everything set up as you said, I did make the one change you suggested to System center moving it from 75 to 0. I also confirmed that System Center was installed and ran Reconciliation, unfortunately the results were the same.

Hi @norm kalish, no worries, let's see if we can solve it step by step. Are you able to share the following screenshots?
- Entitlement (incl. PPN)
- CI software installation details incl. Windows Server & System Center components (Columns - Discovery Model, Normalized Information and Software Model results
- CIS Suite Compoment "Windows Server" and the matching discovery models to verify that your Windows Server 2019 / 2022 installations are covered by this model
