Clarification on CIS–Vulnerability Response Exam Voucher – Payment Required Despite Prerequisites

Hi everyone,

I’ve completed the required prerequisites for the CIS–Vulnerability Response exam namely,

  • Security Operations Fundamentals

  • Vulnerability Response Implementation

However, while trying to claim the exam voucher, the system is still asking for payment.

Could someone please clarify if there are any additional steps or requirements I might be missing to receive access to this certification exam for free?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @ujjwala_678,

you won't like to hear it but it's correct. Passing the training makes you eligible but eligible doesn't mean free..

Check this analogy:

Passing the free training is like getting an invitation to a concert.
But to actually get in, you still need to pay for the admission ticket (claiming the exam voucher).

PS: it's the amount you see + taxes...
