How to hide OOB catalog builder templates

When we start creating a catalog item using Catalog Builder, OOB three templates appear as below:

1. AES App Intake Template

2. AES Record Producer

3. AES Standard items in Service Catalog

Is there any way to avoid their visibility. Also, the Avaialble for field on the template record is un-editable due to ServiceNow read only policy.

This might be a Zurich (or plug-in?) version difference, but when I select the Template from the Templates menu, not when building a new Catalog Item, An Edit button becomes enabled

Then when editing the template, you can set the Available for and/or Not available for, which has selections that are defined outside of Catalog Builder via User Criteria in the left nav

Yes, that’s correct — it can be done, but only if you edit the template first. If you’re creating an item from a template, you can’t modify it directly there. You need to go back to the template itself and update the field visibility or editability settings before generating the item.
