Can app engine only be installed in one sub-prod instance, and the remaining instances are pipelines or can AES be installed in multiple instances?  We currently have 4 instances, sandbox, dev, test and prod.  There is some development that begins in the sandbox, generally for catalog items, the rest of development begins in Dev.  We were trying to install and configure AES in the sandbox and dev, which would mean dev is both an AES development environment and a pipeline.  Can this be done or can AES be installed only in one environment?

My understanding say AES installed only in dev instance as from there the actual  development started and then from there you can move your app to next environment.
