Approver not able to approve

I have a user that has been able to approve request for their department but now need to also approve request forest for another department. 

I have listed them as an approver in the new department, but they are not receiving notice and when they navigate to the RITM it is read only.

Please make sure that the user has the approver_user role added to their profile.

In addition to that, please check out this article here - 

 

This user is currently an approver for their department with no problems.

I have added this user as an approver for an additional department, they can see the approval request for the new department but cannot approve (read only)

Hi @John H1 

You mean the UI action is read-only or the approval request is read only?

If the approval request is read only, then I would want you to check the write ACL on the table, or a client script or UI policy that is making it readonly.
