Catalog Template Updates Reflected in Catalog Items

We are attempting to use Catalog Builder.  When a change is made in a Catalog Template, as documented, how do I get it reflected in an existing Catalog Item using that template?  I know documentation states it is not automatic, but it has to be possible without recreating the entire Catalog Item.

@michaelkukla Unfortunately, the changes do not reflect on the existing catalog items. You either need to do those changes manually or use a background/fix script to make those changes.
