Looking to see how other companies are handling Agile change management.
- How many CAB meetings do you hold a week?
- What changes do you review?
- Who attends the meetings?
- Do you have a board?
Right now I only have one meeting and I am the only one that does the talking.
Any input on this would be great.
Thanks

Hi @L Siltman
I worked as a Change Manager and am happy to share my thoughts. Also, as a BPC, I have supported many of my clients in setting up the Change process.
- How many CAB meetings do you hold a week?
- Atul:It depends on the number, type, and nature of changes. For example, in one telecom company, they had three different CAB meetings, each for one hour — one for network changes, one for database changes, and one for application changes. So, technically and practically, having one CAB each week is good.
- What changes do you review?
- Atul: Again, it depends on moderation. High-risk changes must go to the CAB. We can create more criteria — for example, only high-risk, high-impact, or critical BS/CI changes must go to the CAB. There was a time when I also discussed low-risk changes in the CAB.
- Who attends the meetings?
- Atul:Change Requestor, Change Manager, CAB Manager, CAB members (a combination of business stakeholders), and one member from the deployment team.
- Do you have a board?
- Atul: Board — are you referring to the CAB? Yes, we have one. But with the CAB board alone, the process is only half-cooked
