The answer is to add the details field and use that to add any hyperlinks. adding hyperlinks in survey designer is not supported.

did you try using
< for < and > for > ? just to escape those characters?

Hi it still doesn't work. it ends up showing the full text (html tags and URL).

I am looking into the same thing, so you used a String text field and added the url into the details field within its properties?
