How to hide list items in any Workspace's lists-menu with roles?

Hi, 

I'm trying to configure Service Operations Workspace(SOW) lists the way that users with roles X could only see specific list items in their SOW. 

I know that in sys_ux_list_menu_config_list.do by selecting any workspace, I can hide lists menu items from selected workspace from every user, but is it possible to hide these list items from some users only (with roles)?

For example, I want to hide CMDB list item in Service Operations Workspace lists-menu from specific users. Is this possible? 

Btw I'm not talking about hiding CMDB from app navigation menu, only from Service Operations Workspace list menu.

I'm talking about these list menu items:

Bonus question, does anybody know how to hide or otherwise configure that My Lists menu from this workspace?

Resolved this. I can configure roles to these lists from sys_ux_applicability_m2m_list_list.do.

Or by opening workspace -> clicking list I want to edit -> clicking profile picture -> configure page -> List applicabilities

Then just choose which list you are configuring in this workspace

If the list item is still visible after you created the List Applicability record, it means that you have other existing List Applicability records for that list Item.


Go to List Applicabilities (sys_ux_applicability_m2m_list)
Check if there are more records for the same List
List.Title = <your List Item name>
if there is at least one that is passing the condition for your user, then the List Item will be visible
