How to Remove Service Offering Out of "Draft" State

I’m stuck! Can someone tell me how to get a Service Offering out of the DRAFT State? I have all the right roles (service_author, service_admin, service_editor) and have tried to follow directions in this article, but I can’t seem to update the State. What am I doing wrong?

@DonnaSTLMartin Hello! Did you find a solution? cause i have the same issue

Sorry, @ChaimaH , I never heard back from anyone who could help. I still have a Service Offering stuck in DRAFT status and I have no idea how to update it.

I am currently enrolled in and taking the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) Fundamentals (Course)

This problem pops up when doing tasks relating to Lab 3 (Manage Foundational Data from Technology Management Service Offerings) as well.  One may change the name of the service to remove the [Draft] verbiage and save the change, but the State doesn't change, and the [Draft] verbiage immediately returns.

This issue also appears in the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) Fundamentals (Course) Lab exercises, especially Lab #3.

As far as I could see, when the offering goes in Draft state, the parent (Business Service) also goes to Draft state.

I managed to get the offering published by publishing the Business Service, through the Service Builder.

Be aware that as soon as you click on the Business Service to open it in the Service Builder, it goes straight away in Draft mode.

Hope it helps.
