I am unable to find published knowledge articles and attached documents in the portal view?

Hello All,

 

I have published few articles in my instance later I am searching with subject/meta data key words from the portal view but I am unable to find them in the service portal,

I am unable to find published knowledge articles and attached documents in the portal view?

Any suggestions please

For each service portal you decide which Knowledge Base it should search in. So if you want your knowledge base you created to be searchable you need to change this value in the screenshot to the knowledge base you've created.

Service Portal -> Portals -> Select the desired Portal

Change the Knowledge base value in this field

Do you have access to read the specific knowledge base?

Make sure you have set the can read setting correct for the knowledge base.

Thanks for the quick reply I have admin role,I haven't mentioned any can read criteria in this case it would appear to all users, Am I right

 

I have created one custom knowledge base and custom categories but those are not appearing on the poratl view, How can I show my knowledge base and its categories on service poratl 

Have you made sure the knowledge base you published the article in actually is displayed in the service portal?
