Hi,
I have a project that I wish to break into 2-3 new projects - and as a result Move (or copy) the tasks I already have in the source project.
Is there an easy way to do this?
Thanks

Hi Lee,
If you cannot update the Parent field on the Project Task in your environment, or have lots of tasks and want to do more than one at a time try a Project Task list by typing pm_project_task.list in the left Nav. Configure your view to include the Parent field if it is not displayed in the list. From here you should be able to double-click the Parent value on a record to change it, or ctrl/cmd-click to select multiple values then double-click one of the highlighted values to change them all.

I tried the suggested solution but it gave 'security prevents writing to this field' constraint in the list layout of Project Task list. So i tried 'Edit' button in the 'Project Tasks' related list to remove and again add the same Project task to the parent task. It worked.
