Will there be any performance issues with the additional 1200 incidents per month (200 to 300 per week) coming into ServiceNow on top of the existing ones? Current incident flow is 2500.
and Any potential impact on email engine ? Will it slow down the mail processing across the whole production environment ? ( all these 200 incident tickets per week will generate via inbound email action )
Where can I check our instance performace ? please help on this.
Thanks
Ashok

Hi there,
Any impact? Hard to tell for us, we don't know your instance.
Just looking at the numbers, sounds not that high.
Though it can depend on what you actually configured, build custom, how performance nicely that has been done, how well you are doing instance health, etc..
Kind regards,

Hi @B Ashok
It is tough to say, as you are just creating incident that fine, but if you want to run query with incident and other table it may impact.
But these are normal count, I worked with telecom client where almost 3k-5k are incident count and we did not face any performace isue.

Hello @B Ashok ,
Not sure about current hardware, database configurations, existing customizations, incident complexity (no. of fields populating), attachments, email generation, system logs etc.
You can monitor performance before and after implementations, try to scale resources, optimize email processing etc.
if my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as accepted solution and give a thumb up.
Regards,
CB
