Collaboration Icon is not visible for SC Task in Service Operational Workspace

Hi Community,


I am experiencing an issue in Service Operations Workspace where the collaborate menu icon is not visible for SC Tasks. The icon is, however, visible for Incidents and RITMs.
Here are the details:
• Workspace: Service Operations Workspace
• Affected Module: SC Task
• Working Modules: Incident, RITM
• Plugin Version: 3.10.3

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or knows how to resolve this? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Were you able to find the resolution for your issue?  We are seeing the same thing.  In native UI, SCTask records have the Start Microsoft Teams Chat button displayed, but in SOW the Collaborate button is missing.

There's a script include that you can modify to include sc_task. It's called - SOWContextualPanelRequestVisibility.

I've added it and the button shows up but I can't confirm full functionality to it yet since our MS Teams integration is only in production and we haven't pushed SOW to production.

I am facing an issue where, only for Service Catalog Task (SCTASK) records, clicking the "Start Microsoft Teams Meeting" option under the Collaborate icon results in the error message: "Failed to create meeting." This functionality works correctly for Requested Item (RITM) records. Has anyone encountered a similar issue or knows how to resolve this? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
