How does one edit the start and end date for an on-call rotation in SOW?

My customer has asked me to make these dates editable:

These are in SOW, Teams, Schedule, Edit Schedule, Members, then click the pen on the rotation:

I'm clear there's a reason they're not editable there, but I need to tell my customer how these dates *can* be edited. I'm not finding any documentation as to how to edit these dates once they're set. There is a video on the docs site that shows them as editable after creation, but I've not seem them editable anywhere else. 

I also know that we can edit these dates by going through the 'On-Call Schedules' menu in the nav, and I can tell them that - I just want to be sure there isn't a way to do this in SOW.
