How to disable inline editing for a related list in Workspace?

We have a related list called "Sibling Incident" on Incident. Agents can currently change the status of the incident from the related list Service Operations. We have been unable to disable inline editing.

 

Tried couple of approaches:

1. List control for disabling inline editing doesn't work in workspace.

2. On cell edit client script to disable editing state even though UI type is set to all doesn't work.

 

Is there any other approach?

We were able to figure out to Disable Inline Editing at the workspace page level. Exactly the one mentioned in the first link you shared.
