Service Operation Workspace

Hello, 

 

I have a question regarding Service Operations Workspace. "In the Service Operation workspace, the 'Open in UI Builder' button is not visible in the Configure Workspace record. However, in the Agent workspace, it is visible, and I can edit the workspace in UI Builder. Unfortunately, I am unable to open SOW in UI Builder." Please find the below screenshots for your reference. Thank you.

Hello Danny,

 

Go to table sys_ux_page_registry and load the record "Service Operations Workspace" from there. In the form view, you are now offered the well-know button "Open in ui builder'.

Agent Workspace is in the Global scope...but SoW is in it's own scope. Use the scope selector at the top (in the Next Experience UI Header Menu, top-right...see screenshot below) to change the scope and you should see the ability to edit the record:

Also - much of SoW is RO and uneditable (even in UI Builder), in those instances you need to copy the element from OOB and customize, then associate with the appropriate record, to replace the functionality of SoW which is RO.

I have checked this before and rechecked it once again by changing the application scope to Service Operations Workspace Core, still I do not see the 'Open in UI Builder' button in the Configure Workspace record.

It looks like there is a new menu item 'Service Operations Workspace Admin Centre' which is where you can now make modifications to the SOW.
