Hi
I would like to create a page in portal behind the Request something button.
Page will have following requirements:
1. Not user OOB page.
2. Menu will have all sub catagories only.
3. Each catalog item will have a Button , to represent it for user to click (Not the oob sc_cataogry page)
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Why is it not being OOB a requirement?
If you make all subcategories the 'sub' of one 'major' category, you can just show everything there. And the tiles on the (OOB) page already are on per catalog item.
What is the business case that you can't use the OOB setup, or are we missing information?

Hi Mark,
cheers for your feedback, and I think what you are suggesting will prob meet my requirements, I just dont understand portal in detail.
is there an easy way to expand the tiles to fit the full width of the screen, and how can I use bootstrap to style the tiles with more custom fonts / colors / borders etc?
If there is a guide on Service portal developement that you would suggest that would also be helpful. Basically I do have good knowledge of Bootstrap / html / javascript, I am just struggling understanding how to apply this to Service Portal.
Cheers

Go to the developer portal or to NowLearning to understand the portal.
And always remember: just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Why is this even a requirement? Did you challenge it? What is the reason behind not using it in the way ServiceNow intended it?
And that isn't saying that you shouldn't, but you do need to understand the 'why', because it could very well be that there is a better solution to result in solving that 'why'.
