Sometimes, exciting new applications go under the radar. The new Integration - Multiple Provider Single Sign-On Enhanced UI plugin allows enterprise end users configure SSO redirections entirely from the User Interface. The only caveat being that a 'maint' account is required to display the module in the Service Now navigation menu.

In the video above I outline how to configure the new UI driven configuration application tool using SSOCircle. As an end user, you can perform the steps above by editing the role column on the visibility section of the sys_app_module record for Single Sign-On. You should update the 'maint' value to 'admin'

It is also worth noting that you can simply copy the metadata from your identity provider and utilise the "Import Identity Provider Metadata" UI action to rapidly configure SAML. However, the purpose of this video is to demonstrate the manual process

When configuring your identity provider manually watch out for the signing_key_alias field on the form. This should be left blank. If you modify the pre-configured IDP record and leave the default value in there your SAML configuration may fail.

If you are still using the old version of the SAML 2 configuration application, please review John Andersen video for instruction on how to perform configuration for the now deprecated SAML 2 Single-Sign-On module: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bk-gCYfNVT8
