🐸 Say Goodbye to Instance-Hopping Hell using HopMyNow
Anyone working across multiple ServiceNow instances knows the struggle.
You open a record in one instance…
then you need the same record in Dev, Test, UAT, or Prod.
And the usual ritual begins:

Change instance URL

Paste

Hope it loads

Repeat 20–50 times a day
It’s such a small task - but it drains time, patience, and productivity.
I finally got tired of repeating this endless loop, so I built HopMyNow 🐸 - a tiny Chrome extension designed to eliminate this pain completely.
🚀 What HopMyNow Does
HopMyNow lets you open the same record in multiple ServiceNow instances instantly using keyboard shortcuts.
Once you configure the extension with up to four instances (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod), just use:

Alt+1 → Instance 1

Alt+2 → Instance 2

Alt+3 → Instance 3
-
Alt+4 → Instance 4
And the exact record you’re viewing opens in that instance automatically.
No sys_id copy-paste.
No URL editing.
No tab jungle.
Just clean, instant, efficient hopping.

⚡ Why I Built It
This was born from a simple thought:
“Why am I wasting so much time opening the same record across four instances?”
That small frustration turned into a weekend project…
which turned into something I now use every single day.
It’s fast, lightweight, and makes multi-instance debugging / validation noticeably smoother.
