Adding a Header to the HR Compose email

We are using HR Workspace, and the compose email feature.

We have an HR header/footer for all our emails coming from the HR Module.

I need to add the HR header/footer to the Compose Email.

When I look at the Email Client Template, I don't see anywhere to add it.

I am using an email layout that has the Header and Footer info in it.

I can't find anywhere to link the layout to the Compose Email Client Template.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Larah,

Can you check under System Notification --> Notifications and try finding your email notification.

I think you will be able to find the header and footer here.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Thank you Raj, but this is not a normal notification.  This one is coming from the sys_email table or the email client within ServiceNow.

This can not be found under notifications.

It is found under Email Client Templates.

These are templates used when sending emails from ServiceNow internal Mail.

I would think the header/footer would need to be attached to the template otherwise the Header/Footer will send of all SN Internal Mail with this header.

Thank you for your help though.

Hi Larah,

I understand,

and sys_email table contains the email logs example:

Can you check any other "Email Client Templates" and see if you can find the header and footer defined. If yes, then you can confirm that's the place where we have to find the correct template.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Raj

Yes Raj,

There are other of Email Client Templates and I don't see headers/footers on any of them.

This is my Email Client Template:
