Hello all,
I am configuring AI search for our clients portal on the San Diego version.
My issue is with the Autocomplete suggestions, which seem to not consider other peoples searches at all, only the current user.
In my search application configuration, I added all suggestions types to the related list:
AI Search is enabled on the portal and I linked the Search Application & Search Results configuration to the portal record
The issue: I am only getting autocomplete suggestions from the ,,Recent Search Reader Group,, & ,,Suggested Result Reader Group,, (which are both based on the current user clicks/searches) , but not a single result from the ,,Popular Search,, & ,,Suggested Query,, reader groups, which take into consideration popular searches from other users
I tried imperonating multiple users and searching for the same query, but all users are getting suggestion results from their own searches only
Any advice what I could have configured incorrectly or where I should look ? Would appreaciate any tips. Have a great succesfull day!

Hi Patrik,
About "Suggested Query": can you please try adding a section header to the suggested query reader group?
About Popular Searches:
In my OOTB instance, popular and recent searches only appear if I haven't typed anything yet. Could you confirm the same behaviour?

Hello Max,
adding the Section Header to the ,,Suggested Query,, type does not help. I am getting results from this suggestion type, but only results from the current user.
E.G. if user1 searched for ,,ticket,, before, next time he starts typing ,,tic,, he will get the ,,ticket,, suggested from this Suggestion type. However user2 (new user) will not get suggestions for ,,ticket,, despite 10s of other users searched for it (he will get none as new user)
Regarding the second question yes I am aware that popular & recent searches appear if user didnt type anything, just clicked (click-in mode = true). However for the clients instance only Recent Searches appear, no popular searches results (nor the Popular Searches header) appear for any user despite me going through multiple users and searching for the same query.
So basically when a new user clicks in for the first time in the searchbox, he gets 0 suggestions. Once he starts searching for queries, his recent searches start to build up.

Should be the same behaviour, as the "Click-in Mode" is set to true for Recent/Popular Searches, so they appear once you click in the Search box.
Gruss,
Brian

Hi
Is there a way to hide Catalog under the iphone 6s image of the Suggested result ? our client wants that not to be displayed as Knowledge / Catalog they just want the short description.
