We were able to manage translations of all the dictionary entries for the catalog items and display them to the user when selected language as Arabic. We got around it though.

Hi Ashish,
Currently Arabic is not supported out of the box (Helsinki P1.) You CAN translate the information yourself, there are plenty of resources on the wiki to assist.
If you feel this is a critical feature, I invite you to open an enhancement request.

We are in the middle east and we hear from ServiceNow experts trying to sell ServiceNow in this part of the world without ability of Arabic as language. I really see this as a set back. Not sure why they haven't thought of this. I have raised an enhancement request, need to see their reply.

Thank you for the comments Ashish. ServiceNow has grown rapidly over the past few years. This may be a case where there wasn't a market or demand just one or two releases ago. It could also be in the works to expand our market in those areas. Like you, I look forward to a response.

There is no plugin for Arabic as far as I can see. If you go to Plugins as admin and set the filter to "Name CONTAINS I18N" then you will see what languages are available.
