Hello,
We had some requests about creating generic user accounts for internal resources et end users.
Besides of some of the functional disadvantages of using them, is this a practice accepted by ServiceNow regarding licenses and all that contractual stuff?
Or maybe this has to be discussed and negotiated with a ServiceNow rep?
Thank you

I've checked with our Rep and generic accounts using licenses will break our contract.
But they are more tolerant about generic accounts for end users not using licenses.

Hi,
The accounts would not be for integration purposes. I'm talking about generic accounts that different people would use to connect to ServiceNow.
Either internally for resources to work in ServiceNow or for end users to send requests/incidents.
But you're right better ask our Rep to be sure.
Thank you
