Attachment disappears when catalog item generates change request as a record producer

Is there a way to copy attachments from service catalog item to record producer? what happens is when a catalog request gets submitted with attachment it appears when you hit submit (when it generates change request for that catalog item record producer)

Hi Pooja,

I'm not real clear on what you are trying to do here or what's involved. A Service Catalog Item (sc_cat_item) generates a request item and related request. A record producer is just a pretty front end to creating a single record (e.g. your change request.)

Do you want users to place attachments on the record producer and have them associated on the resulting change request? If I'm not mistaken, that's how it works OOB.

I'm not real clear what the service catalog item has to do with this scenario. Perhaps a use case/walk through scenario would help describe what you are looking for or what your issue is.

Hi Chuck,

when you hit submit on service catalog item it creates Change request, and due to some reason whatever you attach in attachment for catalog item it does not show up on change request.

Hi Pooja,

Are you using a record producer to create the change request? I just did this one of our fresh demo instances and it worked fine. I went to Service Catalog> Record Producers, opened the Emergency Change and clicked "Try It". I attached an image to the record producer and when I submitted it, the image was on the resulting record producer.

my   problem is attachment disappears as soon as record producer gets generated from catalog item. please see below images. as you can see in the first image i added attachment to catalog item and its there and as soon as i hit enter it disappears on change request
