Hi,
I created a new topic called “Vie de l’agent”, but by mistake I deleted the standard topic “Hardware”.
I recovered the Hardware topic from another instance and reconfigured everything — parent/child relationships and connected content (catalog items) are correctly set and active.
However, the topic still doesn’t appear in the Employee Center, even after rebuilding the taxonomy cache and reindexing topics.
Could you please check and let me know why these topics are not appearing in the Employee Center?
Thanks.

Hi @safa biskrane,
The most probable reason your topics are not appearing in the Employee Center, despite correct configuration and cache clearing, is likely related to visibility and access control settings. Often, this issue occurs from misconfigured "User Criteria," which governs which users can see specific topics. When you restored the "Hardware" topic, its original user criteria might not have been reapplied, and your new "Vie de l’agent" topic may lack the necessary criteria to be visible.
Additionally, ensure that the topics are marked as active and have at least one active and visible piece of connected content (like a catalog item or knowledge article) for them to render. It's also crucial to verify that the parent taxonomy is correctly linked to your Employee Center portal record.
Here's the official guide on Enabling user criteria for topics:
Plus, you can try the same thing on your another instance if this issue doesn't occur there that means, it is due to you deleted the standard topic "hardware" first time.
Hope this helps!
