Cascading Retirement

When retiring cis, there's no OOB automation that handles these relationships?  We have to create our own business rules to the upstream relationships?

When retiring a server, the application services also need to be retired unless migrating and if migrating, that should be done before the server is retired.  So when it's retired, we would need to have the business rule remove the cmdb_ci_rel records where this CI is child?

Some Customers want history of what was installed on each server. as long as the Server and the Application are marked as retired, there is no harm in keeping the relationship.
