Change columns that are displayed on data table widget ? (service portal)

Hi,

I'm trying to change the columns that are displayed on "Data Table" widget on sevrice portal.

I tried to use "Fields" but it seems to be ignored!!

Any idea?

Hi Valerie, I think you have already solved this issue based on your other recent posts but just in case: use the Widget: Data Table from Instance Definition and not Data Table from URL Definition

The 'instance' version allows you to define displayed fields in the Widget Instance options

The 'url' version allows you to define displayed fields in the page URL

There were known issues with the Data Table widgets.   This thread may answer a nuber of your questions: Data Table Widget ). Not sure what version or if these issues have been fixed.

For us, this was broken in Jakarta patch 0 and fixed with Jakarta patch 4.
